Carla Anacker is a German choreographer living between Berlin and Copenhagen. In her work, Carla Anacker insists on dance. She believes in the experiential power of watching (attending to) dance. She draws huge inspiration from classical music (most recently Schostakowitsch: Cello Concerto No. 2 in G-Major, Op. 126). Carla Anacker's work investigates volumes, depths, dynamics, phrasing, intensities, shifts, time(ing) in and through dance and choreography.
